Demerited Favour

If God extends any kindness to us at all, it would have to be by grace, because not only have we done nothing to deserve the kindness of God, but we have done everything to deserve the exact opposite! That is why the grace of God is not just unmerited favour as it is commonly defined, but it is even demerited favour.
